All Upper School students are older than 13 years of age and therefore do not fall under the COPPA requirements. Blooket is a new take on trivia and review games! The way it works is that a teacher/host picks a question set and a unique game mode. Then, we generate a code that players can use to join the game on their own devices. After the game starts, players will answer questions to help them win. Flipgrid – a free website tool that allows teachers to create “grids” to facilitate video discussions. Fusion 360 – is a cloud-based 3D modeling, CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB software platform for product design and manufacturing. Students use this platform to design and engineer products to ensure aesthetics, form, fit, and function. They will then, often, fabricate their designs in our makerspace. Quizlet is a web-based application developed to help students study information through interactive tools and games. SchoolPress – SchoolPress is an open source blogging environment, published by WordPress. These sites are hidden behind the HOL password, only specific faculty and students are given access to these blog sites, and activities are monitored by the faculty. Wordwall takes vocabulary games and reviews into the digital world, and is easy to use for teachers and learners. Wordwall can be used to create both interactive and printable activities.
