Did you know that Hackley has an amazing Lego Team? Ms. DiStefano is the director of Lego Team and I am going to tell you some facts about it! According to Ms. DiStefano, Lego team is a part of a group called First Lego League and they learn how to build legos more efficiently. Another fact is that they meet on Tuesdays. I also know that kids in the Lego team learn about programming, collaboration, problem solving, compromising, and perseverance. There are 2 groups in the Lego team. One group is the boys group and the other is the girls group. The boys group’s favorite legos are a tall tower and package sorter. The girls liked conveyor belt that can make noises and change color. Do you want to know more about Lego Competitions? Usually, they go to a school but, this year there was Covid and they couldn’t go so they did it on Zoom. The students talk about what they learned and say what their model is. Also, the Lego team did great in the competition. I hope you learned about the Lego team and how Lego competitions work.
